Christine Robinson Blackwell

Christine Robinson Blackwell, 74 of Taylorsville, Mississippi passed away from her earthly home to her heavenly home on Friday, December 23, 2022, at her home. She was born Saturday, June 19, 1948, in Taylorsville, Mississippi.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 27, 2022, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home at 113 Front Street, Taylorsville, Mississippi.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 28, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Taylorsville, Mississippi. The burial will follow in Fellowship Cemetery in Taylorsville, Mississippi. Bro. Brad Lowery and Bro. Marty Swanner will officiate. Special music will be provided by Mrs. Marta Lowery.  Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Taylorsville is in charge of arrangements. 601-785-6564

Mrs. Christine was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend.  She enjoyed cooking, sewing, traveling, and most of all spending time with her family.  She will be greatly missed by all of her loving family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Randall Blackwell, Sr.; father, Curtis Robinson;  mother, Vera Holifield Robinson; brother, H.C. Robinson; sisters, Betty Faye Robinson Parker, Bernice Ruth Robinson Ainsworth, Patricia Diane Robinson Jones and Bertha Robinson; and special friend, Eugene Wright.

Survivors include her one son, Jack Randall Blackwell, Jr. of Taylorsville, MS; one daughter, Joyce Blackwell McKinley (Ronald Wilson) of Taylorsville, MS; six grandchildren, Kim Stringer Thompson (Joseph) of Ellisville, MS, Kristie Stringer Morgan of Hattiesburg, MS, Kayla Stringer Loper (Max) of Taylorsville, MS, Justin Blackwell (Allison Bynum) of Taylorsville, MS, Josh Blackwell (Abby Luppar) of Taylorsville, MS and Calli-Ray Hollingsworth of Mize, MS; six great-grandchildren, Raiden Leitaker of Taylorsville, MS, Jace Thompson of Ellisville, MS, Gabby Jernigan of Hattiesburg, MS, Klarissa Loper of Taylorsville, MS, Oakley Eubanks of Taylorsville, MS and Aiden Blackwell of Taylorsville, MS; and a host of other family members and friends.

Pallbearers will be Joseph Thompson, Max Loper, Brandon McDaniel, Scotty McMahan, Josh Arender, and Jeffery Thornton.

Honorary pallbearers will be Marty Swanner.
