Graveside services will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Wednesday, May 4, 2022 at North Raleigh Cemetery in Raleigh for Chera Ethel Smith McDaniel, 89, of Raleigh, who passed away Sunday, May 01, 2022 at her home. Bro. Mike Davis will officiate the services. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee is in charge of arrangements. 601-849-5031

Chera was a loving wife, daughter, mother, sister, and friend. She was looking forward to seeing Jesus and her host of loved ones in heaven.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bert Tullos McDaniel; parents, Hooker and Vera Smith; sisters, Katie Patterson (Hershel) and Jo Davaro (John); nephew, Johnny Davis.

She is survived by her one son, Ney Tullos McDaniel  of Raleigh, MS; two grandchildren, Kasey Johnson of Denver, Colorado and Brock McDaniel of Raleigh; two great-grandchildren, Kenlie and Krew Johnson both of Denver, Colorado; sister, Gloria Davis (Sidney) of Taylorsville; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
