Bobbie Jean Windham Gambrell, 92, of Taylorsville, Mississippi, passed away from her earthly home to her heavenly home on Sunday, October 31, 2021, at her home. She was born Saturday, November 24, 1928, in Taylorsville, Mississippi.

A graveside funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 6, 2021, at Summerland Baptist Church Cemetery in Taylorsville, Mississippi. Dr. Frankie Clark will be officiating. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Taylorsville is in charge of arrangements. (601) 785-6564

Ms. Bobbie was a member of First Baptist Church of Taylorsville.  She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend.  She was a homemaker her whole married life and one of the best seamstresses ever.  She will be greatly missed by her loving family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Alexander Carl Gambrell, Sr.; her parents, Robert Clarence Windham and Alma Jane Hancock Windham; her siblings, Charles Edwin Windham, James Robert "Bill" Windham, Sr., and Mary Lou Windham Yelverton.

Survivors include her loving son, Alexander Carl Gambrell, Jr. and his wife, Micki, of Atlanta, GA; two granddaughters, Jennifer Gambrell Kerrigan and her husband, Joe, of London England, and Claire Gambrell Khachatryan and her husband, Robert, of Denver, CO; two sister-in-law, Vera Windham of Taylorsville; niece and nephews, Cynthia Boykin of Brandon, James Robert "Bubbie" Windham, Jr. of Jackson, and George Windham of Taylorsville; and a host of other family members and friends.
