Billy Ralph Sullivan
(July 19, 1949 – March 22, 2023)

Billy Ralph Sullivan, 73 of Mize, Mississippi passed away from his earthly home to his heavenly home on Wednesday, March 22, 2023, at Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. He was born on Tuesday, July 19, 1949, in Taylorsville, Mississippi.

Mr. Billy attended church at Zion Hill Missionary Baptist Church in Mize, Mississippi.  He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, son, brother-in-law, uncle, cousin, and friend.   He was known as a hardworking man that provided for his family.  He was the owner and operator of Sullivan Trucking Company in Mize, Mississippi.  He will be greatly missed by all of his loving family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas R. Sullivan; mother, Hazel Tanner Sullivan; father-in-law, Eulen Kilgore; mother-in-law, Marriell Kilgore; and brother's-in-law, George Kilgore and Billy Hollingsworth.

Survivors include his loving wife of fifty-four years, Mautice Kilgore Sullivan of Mize, MS;  two children, Billy Michael Sullivan (Lorie) of Lake, MS and Amanda Sullivan Aycock (Steve) of Bay Springs, MS;  nine grandchildren, Adam Sullivan (Callie) of Collins, MS, Brice Sullivan (Amanda) of Mize, MS, Bailey Sullivan (Josh Hanna) of Mize, MS, Brandon Sullivan (Logan Wilson) of Louin, MS, Brayden Sullivan (Alyssa Taylor) of Lake, MS, Tyson Knight (Hanna) of Bay Springs, MS, Gage Knight of Bay Springs, MS, Megan Aycock (Josh DeDecker) of Jacksonville, FL and Michael Aycock (Lauren) of Petal, MS;  thirteen great-grandchildren, Molly Sullivan of Keystone Heights, FL, Makayla Sullivan of Collins, MS, Kody White of Collins, MS, Austin Savell of Collins, MS, Banks Sullivan of Collins, MS, Gracee Guillory (Matt Miller) of Mize, MS, Ty King of Mize, MS, Tripp White of Mize, MS, Myles Sullivan of Mize, MS, Branson Ingram of Mize, MS, Dalleigh Ingram of Mize, MS, Addison Knight of Bay Springs, MS, Bennett Knight of Bay Springs, MS; two aunts, Doris Welborn of Mize, MS and Linda Cox of Columbia, MS; one brother-in-law, Jimmy Kilgore (Doreen) of Taylorsville, MS; one sister-in-law, Dian Hollingsworth of Taylorsville, MS; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 26, 2023, from 12:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home, 113 Front Street, Taylorsville, Mississippi.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, March 26, 2023, at 3:00 p.m. at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home. The burial will follow in Zion Hill Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery in Mize, Mississippi.
