Bethany Delorace Runnels, 58, of Mt. Olive, passed away on Thursday, May 14, 2026, in Mt. Olive, Mississippi. She was born on January 13, 1968 in Magee

Bethany had a deep love for her family and siblings, as well as a special fondness for animals, particularly cats. She enjoyed going fishing and working in the yard. For many years, she served as a dispatcher for Cliburn Tank Lines, where she demonstrated a unique ability to turn strangers into family members. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her birth father, Charles Mitchell Bryant; step-daughter, Regina Higgins; paternal grandparents, Kelly Ray Bryant and Charlene Bryant; maternal grandparents, Delmar Sanford and Antie Mae Sanford.

She is survived by her husband, James Runnels; parents, David and Ellon Craft; daughter, Pamela Plunk (James); siblings, Tony Craft, Charles M. Bryant (Brenda), Tonya Craft, and David Craft; and a host of other family members.
