Barbara Walton, 78 of Edwards, Mississippi passed away Saturday, June 6, 2026, at her home in Edwards, Mississippi. She was born on November 25,1947 in Magee, MS.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Magee. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, at 2:00 PM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Magee. Burial will follow in Kennedy Springs Baptist Church Cemetery. Survivors include her husband, Ken Walton; daughter, Connie K. Weeks (Trent); step-daughter, Michelle Lang (Joe); step-son, Wade Walton (Kimberly); grandchildren, Kellie Thomas (Justin), Matthew Mitchell, Bryan Mitchell, Blaine Myers, Braden Myers, Casey Bailey, Brooke MacDonald (Jack), Thomas Lang (Nicole), Jade Lang, David Lang, Brandon Lang, and Gunnar Walton; great-grandchildren, Aubree Thomas, Evan Thomas, Watson MacDonald, and Rebecca Mitchell; sisters, Ellen McWilliams (James), Pam Holmes (George), and Lisa Rankin (Cornell); brother, Danny Bynum.

He was preceded in death by her children, Vicki King and Karen Myers; parents, Roy Lee Bynum and Willie Rayford Bynum; sister, Jean Abernathy.
