Archie Lavon Kemp, Jr passed away on February 5, 2022 in Jackson, MS.

Archie was preceded in death by his parents, Archie L Kemp Sr and Ethel Louise Boyette Kemp Wood.

He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Linda Whitaker Kemp, his 6 children, Robert, Tommy, Tabby, Jesse, Destiny and Jacob. Grandchildren Treston & Katie Kemp, Madison, Paige, & Breanna Blackburn, Axton, Lane, Fisher, Kinsley, and Keelie Kemp.

3 brothers: Steven (Tina), Bobby (Toni) & Larry (A'Leece) and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

Archie loved our Lord, Jesus Christ and was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and brother. He had a gentle, giving spirit and lived a great example for all of his friends and family.

A memorial will be held at a later date. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee is in charge of arrangements. 601-849-5031.
