Anthony Randell Ferguson, 74, of Magee, MS, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 25, 2025, at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson, MS. Born on September 8, 1950, in Neshoba County, MS, Anthony was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.

He is survived by his devoted wife of 54 years, Betty Sue Johnson Ferguson, and his daughters, Valerie Ferguson Bynum and her husband Virgil, and Kimberly Brooke Ferguson Pickering and her husband John. Anthony was a proud grandfather to Sean Nichols, Chandler Castro, and Paden Bynum, and a cherished great-grandfather to Zoey Lynn Nichols, Zeke Nichols, Addie Castro, Sarah Castro, Emma Castro, and Ella Bynum. He is also survived by his brothers, Terry Ferguson and his wife Barbara, Delin Ferguson and his wife Gail, and Danny Ferguson.

Anthony was preceded in death by his parents, Pearl Ferguson and Margie Estelle Thompson Ferguson, his brothers S.A. Ferguson, Garland Ferguson, Glen Ferguson, James Ferguson, Richard Ferguson, Johnny Ferguson, and Dale Ferguson, his sisters Janet Huddleston and Kathy Cole, and his great-grandchild Starlet Bynum.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 2, 2025, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee, located at 302 Eighth Ave SW, Magee, MS. Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, March 3, 2025, at 2:00 PM at New Life Fellowship in Mendenhall, MS, with burial to follow in the New Life Fellowship Cemetery. Bro. Gary Phillips will officiate the services. Arrangements are under the care of Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee.
