Mrs. Cook was a member of Goodwater Baptist Church of Magee, Mississippi.  She was a God-fearing and humble woman.  Her greatest love was for God and then her family.  She loved beyond measure.  She was a wonderful grandmother and a trusting friend to all.

She enjoyed gardening and loved growing flowers as well as crocheting.  She worked long and had to make ends meet.  Her childhood was cut short when her mother died.  She became a second mother to her younger siblings.  She was well known for making a mean biscuit.  She was the glue that held us together.  She will be missed beyond measure.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband of twenty-nine years, Austin Cook; parents, George Samuel Warren and Minnie Mae Roberts Warren; one son, Daniel Austin Cook; six brothers, A.W. "Bud" Warren, Willie Ray "Bill" Warren, George Howard "Sonny" Warren, Sam Junior Warren, George Rufus Warren, and Homer Warren; three sisters, Janie Lavene Stewart, Annie Ruth Hunter, and Annie Jane Warren.

Survivors include one son, Charles T. Cook and wife, Guille, of Magee, Mississippi; two daughters, Gloria J. McLendon of Bremen, Alabama and Katherine Mohaghegh and husband, Hamid, of Brentwood, Tennessee; two grandsons, Scotty McLendon and Michael Levins; two granddaughters, Parissa Mohaghegh and Grace Cook; six great-grandchildren; three brothers, Jessie Travis Warren, Sam Warren, and Travis Warren; two sisters, Charlene Smith and Mary Warren; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Tim Hunter, Tammy Hunter, Sam Stewart, Peggy Hunter, Jimmy Warren, and Gage Hunter.
